PokéBonk Lab Upgrades and How to Get Stardust

Updated

Stardust is PokéBonk's permanent currency. You spend it in the Lab on upgrades that apply to every run and on unlocking items. It never buys power with real money: the game has no shop.

Earning and Spending Stardust

How to get Stardust

Every finished run pays Stardust. The exact amount is calculated on the game's server, but Hard pays ×1.75 and Nightmare ×2.5 compared with Normal, according to the region screen.

Daily and weekly tasks pay 60, 100 and 160 Stardust for the three daily tasks and 300, 450 and 700 for the three weekly ones. Finishing all three dailies adds a bonus of 50 Stardust per day of your streak (up to 250) plus a Bag item; finishing all three weeklies adds 500 Stardust, a Master Ball and two Bag items.

Achievements pay from 50 to 5,000 Stardust each; there are 70 of them. New shinies pay 120 (repeats 50), and season leaderboard places and event reward tracks pay more.

What to buy first

This is our suggestion, not an official one. Start with the cheap first levels: Skip (70), Refresh (100), Banish (130), Training (+4% damage, 85) and Stamina (+8 HP, 85). Extra Refreshes and Banishes make every level-up better, and a Skip pays PokéDollars.

Then save for the 4th move slot (1,275). A fourth attack is the biggest single jump in damage the Lab offers. After that, Fourth option (2,550) shows four level-up cards instead of three.

Unlock items once you know your favourite builds. Archive (from 510) is worth it later: archived items never show up in Poké Balls or the shop, so the items you want come up more often.
