This Privacy Policy explains how Browser Game Hub ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit browsergamehub.io (the "Site"). Browser Game Hub is an information and directory site about free browser games. We do not offer user accounts, registration, comments or payments.

We do not ask you to provide personal information to use the Site. We collect limited information in the following ways:

  • Usage and device data (automatically). Through Google Analytics, we receive information such as the pages you visit, time spent on pages, the referring website, approximate location (country/city derived from your IP address), browser type, device type, operating system and screen size.
  • Server and security logs. Our hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request information (such as URL, time and user agent) to deliver the Site and protect it against abuse and attacks.
  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain and secure the Site.
  • To understand which games and pages visitors find useful, so we can decide which games to cover and improve our content.
  • To display advertising that funds the Site (see Section 4).
  • To respond to your messages and requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies and Google Analytics

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (expiring after up to 2 years) to distinguish visitors and sessions. Google Analytics event data is retained for no longer than 14 months.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site:

  • Google (analytics and advertising), which may process data in the United States and other countries.
  • Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery and security).
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. Legal Bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Site, and on the basis of your consent where consent is required by law, for example for analytics and advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies or using the opt-out tools above.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents may also opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising using the Google opt-out tools above. 8. Data Retention

  • Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Emails you send us: kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.
  • Hosting and security logs: retained by Cloudflare according to its own retention policies.

9. Third-Party Websites

The Site links to third-party game websites (for example, the official Lagos Life website). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies before playing or creating an account there.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Some games we cover, such as Lagos Life, are intended for adults (18+). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and protected by Cloudflare. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit the data we collect to reduce risk.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
