PokéBonk Evolution Levels for Every Pokémon

Updated

PokéBonk uses its own evolution levels, not the main-series ones. Charmander, for example, becomes Charmeleon at level 24 and Charizard at level 44 in a run, instead of 16 and 36. Search the table for your Pokémon to see when it evolves.

Run levels from the game's evolution formula and per-Pokémon overrides in v0.8.25; Charmander's 24 and 44 match its in-game League screen. Two evolutions in one run are always at least 3 levels apart, so if you are already past a level you evolve at the next level-up. Maturity: a Pokémon with no evolution left gets +12% damage and HP at that level.

How Evolution and Maturity Work

Evolution in PokéBonk happens inside a run and resets when the run ends: every run starts at level 1 with the base Pokémon. Each evolution gives +12% damage and HP, a new look and a stronger version of the Ultimate.

Pokémon that can't evolve further still grow. A Pokémon with no evolution at all gets +12% damage and HP at level 24 and again at level 44. A two-stage line such as Clefairy gets one more +12% at level 44 after it has evolved. Three-stage lines get their bonuses from evolving instead.

Eevee is the only Pokémon with a choice: at level 36 a window lets you pick Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon. Magikarp's passive, Perseverance, gives +60% experience and it turns into Gyarados at level 40. Caterpie and Weedle evolve at level 8 and again at 36.

To reach the levels sooner, look for experience boosts: the Lab's Study upgrade (+5% per level), Lucky Egg and Exp. Share items, the Exp. Candy vitamin, and a Rare Candy from the Bag for two free levels at the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does Charmander evolve in PokéBonk?

Charmander evolves into Charmeleon at run level 24 and into Charizard at run level 44.

How do you evolve Eevee in PokéBonk?

Reach level 36 in a run with Eevee. A window opens and you choose Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon. Eevee itself unlocks with 15 League members and 10 different Pokémon played.

Does evolution carry over between runs?

No. Every run starts at level 1 with the base Pokémon, and you evolve again as you level up. Evolved forms you have reached are recorded in your profile.

When does Magikarp evolve in PokéBonk?

At run level 40, into Gyarados. Its passive Perseverance gives +60% experience so it gets there faster than its level suggests.
