What is Friday Fighters?
Friday Fighters is a free 2D fighting game that runs in the browser at fridayfighters.com. Every fighter comes from Ice Cube's Friday films: Craig, Smokey, Deebo, Big Worm, Day-Day, Uncle Elroy, Money Mike and 33 more, with some characters in a separate version for each movie. You pick a fighter and a sidekick, then win two of three 99-second rounds using four attack buttons, a Special, two Supers and a cinematic Ultra.
The game is made by a creator who goes by LMG (@lmg2kool on Instagram, K1NGLMG on YouTube), who showed it on YouTube on October 16, 2026. Complex covered it the next day. Its About page calls it an unofficial fan tribute, not affiliated with New Line Cinema, Warner Bros., Cube Vision or the filmmakers. Browser Game Hub is not affiliated with Friday Fighters either.
It has seven modes: Arcade, VS CPU, local Versus, Online, Training, a 12-chapter Story and a CPU Showcase. Arcade, VS CPU and Versus also work as 2 vs 2 tag team. There is no account or sign-up, it plays with a keyboard, a controller or touch, and the Download option installs it as an app that also works offline.

How to Play Friday Fighters
- 1Open fridayfighters.com on a computer, phone or tablet. There is no sign-up. On a phone, hold it sideways; if it stays in portrait, choose PLAY ANYWAY. Instagram's and TikTok's in-app browsers lock rotation, so open the link in your regular browser.
- 2On the main menu pick ARCADE, then 1 VS 1. Press left or right on the top menu item to switch to VS CPU, VERSUS or TRAINING. STORY is the third item in the menu.
- 3Choose your fighter from the grid. The small 95, 00 and 02 tags show which film each version comes from. Then pick a sidekick; the fighter's usual partner is marked DEFAULT.
- 4Move with WASD and attack with Q and G (punches) and V and B (kicks). H uses your Special or throws your item, T and Y fire your two Supers, C calls your sidekick and R blocks.
- 5Win two rounds. Each round is 99 seconds and both fighters start with 1,150 health; if time runs out, the fighter with more health left wins the round.
- 6Spend meter on Supers (one bar each). When ULTRA ×1 and the blue prompt show, press T and Y together for your free Ultra. After you win the match, press both Supers again within about four seconds for the FINISH 'EM finisher.

Rounds, Meter and Damage Rules
| Rule | How it works |
|---|---|
| Match | Best of three rounds, 99 seconds each. Both fighters start every round with 1,150 health. If time runs out, more health left wins the round. |
| Meter | Up to three bars. You start each round with one bar and keep meter from the last round. You earn it by attacking, blocking, taking damage and taunting. |
| Supers | Two per fighter, one bar each. |
| Ultra | One free Ultra every round; after that it costs three bars. Once it starts it can't be blocked or interrupted, and it grabs opponents in the air or getting up. |
| Combo damage scaling | Hits 1–2: 100%. Hits 3–4: 80%. Hits 5–6: 60%. Hits 7–9: 45%. Hit 10 onward: 35%. |
| Counter hit | +25% damage when you hit an opponent who is starting an attack. |
| Repeating a move | −15% damage for each time you used the same move in your last eight attacks, down to 40%. |
| Chip damage | Blocked normal attacks deal no damage. Blocked Specials and Supers deal 22% of their damage. |
| Armored moves | An armored signature move keeps going through normal and Special hits and takes 60% of their damage. Supers are not absorbed. |
| On Fire | Land two combos of four or more hits in a row: +10% damage for about ten seconds. |
| Throwables | Four per round, shown as ITEM 4/4 under your meter; they refill next round. |
| Comeback tools | Crossover: Sidekick while blocking, half a bar. Combo breaker: block the third move of a chain to break it and earn a quarter bar. Bye Felisha break: Sidekick while being hit, one bar, once per round. |
| Meter steal | Both versions of Deebo take up to one bar of your meter with their grab. |
Round, meter and comeback rules are from the official guide and match the in-game HUD. Damage scaling, counter hits, the repeat penalty, chip damage and armor values come from the game's fight code (build of October 23, 2026).
Game Modes
Arcade
Arcade is a seven-fight ladder from your fighter's own film. The first six opponents are drawn at random from that film's roster, one per character and never your own character; the seventh is the film's boss: Deebo (1995) in Friday, Joker in Next Friday and Robber Santa in Friday After Next. If you are playing the boss yourself, another fighter from that film takes the last slot. After a loss you can continue or end the run.
The CPU gets tougher as you climb. With CPU difficulty above Easy, fights 1–3 are one level below your setting, and from fight 4 the CPU plays at your setting. Arcade works 1 vs 1 or as a 2 vs 2 tag team.
VS CPU, Versus and 2 vs 2
VS CPU is a single fight where you pick both sides and the stage. Versus is two players on one computer, sharing a keyboard or using two gamepads. Both, and Arcade, can be played 2 vs 2: each side picks two fighters, the sidekick button tags your partner in, the benched fighter slowly recovers some damage, and your Ultra helper is your teammate.
Online
Find Online Match pairs you with anyone searching at the same moment, with no sign-in. You can also host a private room and share its four-letter code. Matchmaking connects players directly when it can and switches to a secure relay when a network blocks that; private rooms use direct connections only, which some networks block. Online is always 1 vs 1, and you win by forfeit if your opponent quits.
Story, Training and CPU Showcase
Story mode, One Last Friday, retells all three films in 12 chapters across three acts (The Block, The Suburbs, Back to the Block), each with its own cutscene. The table below lists every chapter.
Training puts you against a dummy with a refilling meter. Its pause menu has Try Ultra, Try Finisher, a dummy setting, HITBOXES and FRAME DATA readouts, the move list and Change Fighters. CPU Showcase lets the computer fight itself, which is a quick way to see a character's moves.
Story Mode: All 12 Chapters
| # | Chapter | Act | You play | Opponent | Stage | In-game tip |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Day Off | The Block | Craig (1995) | Stanley | The Block | Start with light punches. Save your meter for a clean opening. |
| 2 | Borrowed Wheels | The Block | Craig (1995) | Red | The Alley | Block a heavy attack, then answer while your opponent recovers. |
| 3 | The Deadline | The Block | Craig (1995) | Big Worm | Big Worm's Ice Cream Truck (night) | Close the distance between projectiles. Do not chase every opening. |
| 4 | Stand Your Ground | The Block | Craig (1995) | Mr. Jones | Jones Living Room | Practice defending without backing yourself into the corner. |
| 5 | New Zip Code | The Suburbs | Craig (2000) | Day-Day | Elroy's Lottery House | Use your sidekick to interrupt pressure and create room. |
| 6 | Off the Clock | The Suburbs | Craig (2000) | Pinky | Pinky's Record Shop | Short combos are safer than throwing a super into a block. |
| 7 | At the Fence | The Suburbs | Craig (2000) | Baby Joker | The Jokers' Backyard | Leave space for a jump-in, then answer with down + heavy punch. |
| 8 | The Wrong Backyard | The Suburbs | Craig (2000) | Joker, who calls in his sidekick | The Jokers' Backyard | Watch the sidekick as well as the fighter. Spend meter when both commit. |
| 9 | Christmas Shift | Back to the Block | Craig (2002) | Money Mike | Money Mike's boutique | Keep an eye on meter. A full three bars unlocks your team super. |
| 10 | No More Getaways | Back to the Block | Craig (2002) | Robber Santa | Ms. Pearly's Apartments | Be patient against movement. Punish a missed attack instead of chasing. |
| 11 | Damon Is Waiting | Back to the Block | Craig (2002) | Damon | Bros. BBQ | Damon presses forward. Block the heavy hits and punish his recovery. |
| 12 | The Original Bully | Back to the Block | Craig (2002) | Deebo (1995), final boss | The Block | Deebo steals meter with grabs. Keep your distance, bait the slap, then punish. |
Story mode One Last Friday, from the game's chapter data. You always play Craig, in his version for each film. Progress saves after every win, and you must win a chapter to open the next; lose and you can try again. The last column is the game's own tip for that fight.
Stages
| Stage | Film |
|---|---|

Why Is Friday Fighters So Popular?
It turns a film series people quote word for word into a Street Fighter-style game. Moves are named after lines and scenes, from Craig's Bye, Felisha to Deebo's Bike Ride, and Story mode retells all three movies in 12 cutscene chapters.
It is much deeper than a meme game: 40 fighters with their own Special, signature move, two Supers, throwable and Ultra, 20 sidekicks, 12 stages, tag team, online matchmaking and a Training mode with hitbox and frame data readouts.
It costs nothing and opens straight in a browser on PC, phone or console, so a clip on Instagram or YouTube turns into a match in seconds. The creator's own video went up on October 16, 2026, and fan videos such as ItsBoogie's followed the next day.
Quick Start Tips for Beginners
- Start in Training. Your meter refills there, so you can try both Supers and the Ultra, and the pause menu turns on HITBOXES and FRAME DATA so you can see how fast each move is.
- Use the light punch auto-combo: after a hit lands, keep tapping Q and the chain climbs to light kick, heavy punch, heavy kick and your Special, finishing with Super 1 if you have a full bar.
- Keep combos short and varied. Hits 1–2 deal full damage, hits 3–4 deal 80%, 5–6 deal 60% and from the 10th hit only 35%. A move you already used in your last eight attacks also loses 15% per repeat.
- Your Ultra is free once per round and can't be blocked once it starts. Use it up close, where it always lands, then save three bars if you want another.
- Hit the opponent while they are starting an attack: a counter hit deals 25% more damage.
- Against a player who keeps attacking, block the third move of their chain. That breaks the chain and earns you meter. With half a bar, press C while blocking for a Crossover that knocks them away.
- Throwables are limited to four per round (ITEM 4/4 under your meter). Save them for an opponent who keeps jumping or dashing in.
- If Arcade feels too easy, raise CPU difficulty in Settings. There are four levels: Easy, Normal (the default), Hard and Friday.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I download Friday Fighters on Android or iPhone?
Yes, as an installable web app from fridayfighters.com, not from an app store. Choose DOWNLOAD on the main menu. On Android and on a computer, use the install icon in the address bar or the browser menu (Install Friday Fighters / Add to Home screen). On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. How do I play Friday Fighters online with a friend?
Choose ONLINE. Find Online Match pairs you with anyone searching at the same time, with no sign-in. To play a friend, host a private room and share its four-letter code. Online matches are always 1 vs 1; tag team is local only. If your opponent quits mid-fight, you win by forfeit.
How many characters are in Friday Fighters?
40 fighters: 15 from Friday (1995), 14 from Next Friday (2000) and 11 from Friday After Next (2002), plus 20 sidekicks. Craig, Deebo, Day-Day, Uncle Elroy, Mr. Jones and Pinky appear in more than one film version, each with different moves. All 40 are available from the start; the character list covers every move.
Is Friday Fighters an official Friday game?
No. It is an unofficial fan tribute made by LMG. The game says it is not affiliated with New Line Cinema, Warner Bros., Cube Vision or the filmmakers, and that character names and third-party material belong to their owners.
Does Friday Fighters work offline?
Yes, after you use DOWNLOAD. When the download finishes, the game says it works offline on that device; open it from your Home Screen or apps. Online matches still need the internet.
Is Friday Fighters the same as the Martin fighting game?
No. Martin: No Filter Fighters is a separate fan-made fighting game based on the TV show Martin, posted by the YouTube channel BANG Media TX on October 14, 2026. Friday Fighters is posted by LMG's channel K1NGLMG. Complex mentioned the Martin game in its Friday Fighters article.
