MW4 DMZ Hajin Map: Every POI and Threat Level
Updated
Hajin is DMZ's map: an exclusion zone on the former border between North and South Korea, with more than 60 named locations. North Korean wilderness, a prison and an air base fill the west; South Korean farmland, villages and a nuclear reactor fill the north and east; and Hajin City, with a mall, a stadium and the fortified Grid, sits in the south-east.
Every POI has an expected threat level, from Low to Extreme, which is how hard it is before you start a fight. The table lists all 13 major POIs from Activision's Hajin guide with the threat level of each named area. The map grid runs letters west to east and numbers north to south (D7 is Imjin Farmland), and every key's description gives a grid square.

| Building | How to spot it | Look for |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Station | Red; brick in the NK side, modern in the SK side | Radiation gear and parachutes |
| Police Station | Blue | Military gear and a locked Armory; military weapon containers |
| Clinic | Green | Medical loot; watch for ambushes |

| Compound | Fortified military position | Better loot and intel, heavy resistance; often an Ammo & Armor Cache |
Building types marked on the Tac-Map, from Activision's Hajin guide (October 5, 2026). Building colour tells you what it is.
Keys, Compounds and Radiation
Keys
Keys open special loot rooms. Every key's description gives a grid square on the Tac-Map, and you can keep keys in your Stash between runs. Activision's field stories describe a key taken from a Lieutenant that opened a sealed room under NuriGO Mall, with a recipe, rare components and a weapon manual inside.
Compounds and hidden areas
Compounds are small and medium fortified military positions with better loot and intel and heavy resistance; Activision suggests a quiet approach. It also hints at secrets: a door locked from the inside usually has another way in, and rural woods hide underground entrances.
Radiation
The Haneul Nuclear Reactor sits in a radioactive cloud, worst inside the reactor itself. Activision says you need radiological protective gear and a gas mask there; Fire Stations are where to look for radiation gear, and radiation blockers are a consumable. Separately, the radiation storm spreads across the whole map as the match goes on.
