How to Do a Cork 7 in Cork7: Every Trick and How It Scores

Updated

A cork 7 is a cork 720: two full spins with the body tilted off axis, upside down once. In Cork7 you throw it by holding a spin key (A or D) together with the back-flip key (S) as you leave the lip, then letting go once the readout shows 720. Big Air is the easiest place to learn it, because its one kicker gives you about five seconds in the air.

Points grow with the square of your rotation: a 360 is 1,500 base points, a 720 is 6,000 and a 1080 is 13,500. Grabs, flips, switch, air time and clean landings add to that, while repeats and crashes cut it. Everything below comes from the official controls guide, the game's scoring code and our own runs on October 24, 2026.

Cork 7 Step by Step

How to land a cork 7 on Big Air

Pick Big Air on the park map. It is a single kicker built for distance, so every run gives you one big trick and about five seconds of air. Press F to skip the drag lift.

Hold W from the start gate to the lip. Tucking all the way down the inrun took our rider to 187 km/h, which gives you the air time for two full rotations.

At the lip, let go of W and hold D (or A) and S together. That combination is a cork: a spin with a back flip, off axis. Both keys have to go down together at take-off; a spin added after the flip has started only tilts it.

Hold the keys until the trick readout shows 720, then let go so the rotation settles. In our test we held the cork into a tail grab and kept turning: the readout went CORK 540 TAIL, then RODEO 900 and RODEO 1080 as the rider went past upside down a second time. Releasing earlier is what keeps it a cork 7.

Add a grab while you spin: Shift for mute, Q for tail, E for Japan. Hold it a full second for the ×1.25 bonus, then release before the landing.

Land with your skis pointing down the hill. A clean landing adds 450 points plus 15% of the line; a sideways landing keeps at least half; a crash loses it all.

What a cork 7 is worth

A 720 is two turns: 1,500 × 2² = 6,000 base points. As a cork it is upside down once, so it gets the inverted bonus: × 1.15 = 6,900. Hold one grab for a second and it becomes 6,900 × 1.25 = 8,625, before air time (135 a second and 36 a metre of height) and the clean-landing bonus.

Our Rodeo 1080 with a tail grab on Big Air banked 20,553 points without a clean landing. Its spin alone was 3 turns, or 13,500 base points.

Bigger spins pay much more: a 1080 is worth 2.25 times a 720 and a 1440 four times. That is why the top of the Season 02 leaderboard was above 500,000 points on October 24: long lines of big spins, landed clean and never repeated.

Corks, bios, rodeos and mistys

All four are a spin and a flip at once. The flip key decides the direction: S (back) gives a cork, W (front) a bio. Add the up arrow and the feet go over the head: a rodeo with S, a misty with W. A spin with the left or right arrow lies flat and becomes a flatspin.

Two or three off-axis flips in one air read as a double or triple cork, and each extra flip adds another 15%. Ride switch (backwards) and the spin points get × 1.25; on a snowboard the trick name also shows the spin direction, such as FS, BS or Cab.

Base points for a trick's turns: 1,500 × turns², from the game's scoring code (Season 02; points were tripled when the season began). One turn = 360°. For a straight flip, each flip adds one turn; for corks, bios, rodeos and mistys only the spin counts, and each flip adds the 15% inverted bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you do a cork in Cork7?

Hold A or D (spin) together with S (back flip) as you leave the lip of a kicker. Pressing both at take-off makes the rotation off axis; a spin added after the flip has started only tilts the flip. With W instead of S it is a bio.

Why did my cork turn into a rodeo?

The game names the trick from the movement your rider completed. If you keep holding the keys and go upside down a second time, the trick can read as a rodeo or a double. Release the spin once the readout shows the rotation you want.

Why did I lose all my points?

You crashed. Points from jumps and rails build up in a line and are only banked when you land on the snow; a crash loses the whole line. Release every key before landing and keep the skis pointing down the hill.

Do tricks score more on a snowboard?

The scoring rules are the same for skis and snowboards. On a board the trick names also show the spin direction (FS, BS, Cab).

What is the best park for tricks in Cork7?

Big Air for learning big spins, since it has one mega kicker with the most air. The Yard and APEX are the parks for long scoring lines and the Season 02 prize leaderboards, and Forest Line is the rail park.
